Bio: I'm Vanessa from Macrame Sweetness and teach a wide variety of contemporary macrame classes in Brisbane including at Bag End Studio. I fell in love with macrame as a child in the 70s and in the last 5 years have really focussed on developing new patterns and workshops.
Description: This artwork is inspired by the Knots you first get when you hear your Breast Cancer Diagnosis and then you weave through the process until you feel free. The Gold lining a sign of victory is for winning the battle. The design and knotting process is based on a macrame workshop I do called Angel
Wings which trigged the idea.
