Jacquie Estreich

Jacquie Estreich, born East Ivanhoe, Victoria. At an early age she developed a love for pottery and art following in her mother and grandmothers footsteps. After completing school, majoring in Art, Graphics, Law and Secretarial Studies she travelled through Europe. In 1981 she set up her own ceramic and porcelain studio and continued her studies by attending several workshops, seminars and training sessions. Constantly learning traditional and modern techniques and methods related to ceramics and porcelain the firings, paints and glazes created an opportunity to obtain her Diploma in this field.
In 1985 she moved to the North Coast of NSW established and maintained a successful business for both wholesale and retail cliental which included a product distributorship for all of NSW with a well-known ceramic company. She taught both children and adult classes, judged local shows in the area and attended ongoing workshops. In 1993 she sold her business and until today has spent 20 years in customer service. At present she is completing a Bachelor of Dementia Care Degree and currently holds the Diploma in Leisure and Health Aged Care.
At the Brisbane Craft & Quilt Fair, 2014, she stopped at the Powertex Pavilion, had a demonstration and lesson on the product and has not looked back. In a short time, she has become familiar with this product through attending seminars with two wonderful teachers, Nat Parish & Sue Taylor. This has inspired her to get back into her true love of creating, sculpturing, painting, teaching, playing and producing beautiful mixed media works of art using Powertex products, a product unlike any other product she has ever used.
Apart from the most famous creation produced being 4 beautiful boys and 3 grandchildren throughout her later life below are current works of art with her own unique style using mixed media and the most powerful and versatile tool of all Powertex Products.
